Sip, swirl, and sample southern muscadine wines. Emerald Coast Wine Cellars opened its doors August 2001. Since then, we have been providing wines to all the wonderful people visiting the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. We offer a complimentary wine tasting daily, 7 days a week. Join us and sample the wonderful muscadine wines, bottled and produced at our sister store, Chautauqua Vineyards and Winery, Inc. located in historical DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
Our winery has received many awards and medals since opening in 2001. Need a gift basket, we may have just what you are looking for, we have two certified gift basket designers on staff. You can find single wrapped bottles and pre-made gift baskets for all occasions. If you would like a personalized gift basket, please give them a call at 850 837 9500. Gift baskets are only available for special orders and delivery, Monday – Friday, however we do have single bottles and some gift baskets downstairs for pick up. STORY
Our Florida Vineyards
The vineyard is located just 12 miles north of DeFuniak Springs. We offer two varieties of muscadine grapes that we grow which are the Carlos White Muscadine, which you can also find planted on our porch rails at Emerald Coast Wine Cellars, and also the Noble Red Muscadine. The vineyard was planted in 1979 and has over 50 acres of muscadine vines. We harvest annually between late August and early September in the early morning hours.
Our Florida Winery
Chautauqua Vineyards and Winery, Inc opened in June of 1990 in historic Defuniak Springs, Florida. The winery has over 60,000-gallon capacities of stainless-steel tanks.
They are open seven days a week and they also offer complimentary wine tastings. Stop in to visit and let them
